Description:

Blindfold Games, developed by Objective Ed, offers a suite of entertainment applications designed specifically for the visually impaired community. The in-app purchases contribute directly to the ongoing development and support of these games.

One notable title in the collection is Breakout, an accessible audio game inspired by the classic arcade experience. In Breakout, players navigate a paddle, a ball, and a series of bricks. The first action involves tapping the screen to launch the ball from the paddle. Upon striking a brick, the brick shatters, causing the ball to bounce back towards the paddle.

The paddle is maneuvered by tilting the phone left or right. Using headphones or earbuds enhances the experience, as players can track the ball's approach through spatial audio cues. The sound of the ball aligns with the paddle when it is centered in the player's head, indicating an ideal moment for a bounce.

Breakout begins with a tutorial level that helps familiarize players with the mechanics before progressing through various game modes. The initial mode, Simple Breakout, challenges players to destroy one row of eight bricks before increasing to two rows, three rows, and ultimately up to ten rows of bricks.

The gameplay dynamically adjusts; as players consistently hit the ball with their paddle, its speed increases. Additionally, players can modify the angle of the bounce by striking the ball with different parts of their paddle.

The game operates on a coin system, requiring one coin to participate in each play. Additional coins are available for purchase through in-app upgrades, providing options for extended gameplay.
